Job Title: Systems Engineer (Certification and Qualification)Location: Seal Beach, CADuration: 6 months with designated intent to extend or go permanentPay Rate: $55/hr to $70/hrOverview: We are driving the hiring process for our partner and are seeking a Systems Engineer (Certification and Qualification) on a contract basis to join the team in Seal Beach, CA. In this role, you will apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. You will evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.Responsibilities:

• Perform various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
• Integrate affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance, and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
• Develop the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.
• Resolve cross-functional technical issues.Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related STEM field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Factors or a related field
  • Strong presentation skills, particularly with airline operatorsPreferred Skills/Qualifications:
    • Master's Degree or PhD in Engineering or related field
    • Industrial Engineering Bachelor's Degree
    • Experience in aviation maintenance
    • Pilot's License
    • Experience implementing Safety Management Systems per EASA part 145Nice to Have Qualifications:
      • Active or past security clearance, demonstrating eligibility to work on sensitive aerospace and defense projects.
      • Previous military experience, providing firsthand knowledge of aerospace operations and requirements.
      • Experience working with industry leaders such as Boeing, Airbus, Collins Aerospace, Lockheed Martin, Rockwell Collins, Raytheon, Honeywell, Blue Origin, Northrop Grumman, ULA, NASA, or similar organizations, indicating familiarity with industry standards, processes, and best practices.Benefits:
