Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Combat/Encounter Designer on a
contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
Create and drive player combat moves, systems, and tools from
design through implementation
Develop and maintain complex state machine and behavior tree
scripting architectures for characters
Design and iterate engaging combat scenarios that balance challenge
and player enjoyment
Required Qualifications
Experience in game design with a focus on combat and encounter
design, preferably in AAA titles
Strong understanding of gameplay mechanics and level design
principles
Proficiency in design documentation and visual scripting tools
A portfolio showcasing experience and expertise in combat/encounter
design
Knowledge of current trends in gaming and a passion for creating
engaging experiences
